Active Parenting Now/Teen Training

Active Parenting Now is a video-based education program targeted to parents who want to improve their parenting skills. The program teaches parents how to raise a child by using encouragement, building the child's self-esteem, and creating a relationship with the child based upon active listening, effective communication, and problem solving. It also teaches parents to use natural and logical consequences and other positive discipline skills to reduce irresponsible and unacceptable behaviors.

Active Parenting of Teens: is designed to increase protective factors that prevent and reduce alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use; irresponsible sexual behavior; and violence. Family, school, and peer bonding are important objectives.

TRAINING INFORMATION:

8:30 am to 4:00 pm

$50 Credit card online now or Check or Cashier’s Check at the event. 

At the completion of the program you will be a certified AP facilitator and have the option of becoming an Independent Contractor for Hanley Foundation.
